Why down jackets need professional care
Down clumps easily if a jacket is washed or dried incorrectly, and then it loses its warmth. Jackets with fur trims, wax coating or leather details often cannot be washed normally at all. We assess each jacket by its care label and materials before choosing a treatment.
When should you clean your winter jacket?
A good time is in spring, before you put the jacket away. Otherwise dirt, sweat and skin oils can settle into the fabric over the summer. Then store it loosely — not compressed in a bag.
